Anyone else think David Harbour looks like the exact middle point of Michael C Hall and Peter Krause? Season two, Hopper wakes up in a funeral home…
I think he wanted to be caught to be let inside where the gate was. Their priority was finding Will, rather than killing the monster.
We'd be embarrassed for America, but Britain's doing its best to keep up with them.
Thank You For Smoking. It's still Aaron Eckhart's best role, and it's my favourite of Reitman Jr's films. It's at least got some of the best lines of any 2000s comedy I can recall.
Also, though I know it's a complete piece of shit, Eurotrip. It's just so utterly dumb, and it takes that dumb by the reigns and rides it to the Vatican. Plus, Matt Damon again, man. That dude does something for me.
I have a soft spot for Stuck On You, probably the last decent Farrelly's movie. Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are total treasures.
Scrubs is top notch until near the end of season four; season five is mostly great; season six and seven are terrible; season eight is divided between some really solid episodes and more of the same terrible, with a really great "finale" for JD. Season nine is literally the worst thing ever. So I'd say maybe end in…
The Daniels, Dano, and Daniel Radcliffe. What a wonderfully synced film.
A lot of these kind of shows had episodes that sort of solidified the dramatic effect of the Whammy Penultimate Episode (Middle Ground for The Wire, Breaking Bad's Phoenix, etc) but I don't think any show has made such a staple out of it as GOT has.
The overhead shot that rises to a wide of all the fighters as Jon pulls himself out from suffocation is also a neat echo of the Daenerys' "Mhysa" shot from Season 3.
I know it's gratuitous, but I wanted to see that fucker Ramsay torn apart on screen. Part of me wanted to see Jon or Sansa literally rip the skin off his face or gouge his eyes out like the Mountain did to Oberyn. I wanted him to snivel and beg more. But hey, he's dead, brutally. That's still a win.
Sansa sent Brienne off with a letter in a previous episode, I don't think it was the same as the one she was writing at the end of last week.
I thought we'd get a scene where Jaime suggests to the Tully army (I don't think he'd be able to command anything of them) that they march north now to Bastardbowl.
That is true. Had forgotten Brienne was sent down, then watched the preview for next week and thought "doh!"
The only other person I can imagine Sansa writing to is the Blackfish. Long shot, but could his barb to Jaime about his promise to Catelyn translate to Jaime and the Blackfish temporarily putting aside differences and heading to Winterfell?
Could be Cersei that does it to the wights. Whatever happens, that city is getting toasty.
Bran's vision has the Mad King's "burn them all" right next to images of the Walkers and wights.
I really don't think Tommen's long for this world, so Arya would have to act pretty darn fast.
My favourite theory has Arya miss the Walkers and be more of an epilogue gut-punch to the main climax. The Faceless Men will be hired by the Iron Bank of Braavos to assassinate the King of Westeros as a message over their unpaid debt.
