Ghost Boobsters! I enjoyed it.
Ghost Boobsters! I enjoyed it.
Not at all. If you look up "gayface" in the dictionary, etc etc.
Ah, I guess I'm not so well-grounded in the classics.
It's weird, I don't feel particularly well-read, but not one review I've seen has mentioned that the whole "they're here, in the pie, my lord" routine was straight out of Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus."
Yeah I'd say Serial Mom, Pecker and Hairspray are the pinnacle of his career. Excellent films, all of them.
It's a langoustine!
Wait, people don't like "Homerpalooza"? From the moment that aired my friends and I have quoted "hate crime" and "Are you being sarcastic, dude?" "I don't even know anymore."
I enjoyed reading this, but the "lady or the tiger?" ending left me cold. I hope they do something for that.
Re-watching this season to refresh myself and I'm just jumping in with the small observation that the very best part for me was Brienna (probably) dispatching Stannis. It really pays off the debt that he has incurred to the dark powers that Varys feared, and it was a lovely moment when he said "Go on, do your duty"…
I agree, I'd have liked to have seen a whole episode about those two dudes.

"Does that upset you, Quizbooooyyyy?"
I posit that "Origin of Love" is the "I Want" song in Hedwig & the Angry Inch.
One of the all time greats!
EBERT: "These are the sorts of movies the Disney people SHOULD be making." Always ahead of the curve, that one!
Love your mention of "The Scarlet Empress." I always thought the accent mis-match was a sly joke on Von Sternberg's part. Of course, Dietrich's German accent is correct for the character, but I always think of Louise Dresser's aged Empress, with her fishwife bray, as a clever comment on the essential vulgarity of the…
Fair enough, but it doesn't have to be played that way. You could easily pull a Ripley and have her deliver the exact lines Billy Dee Wiliams did.
It's so hard to pin one thing down, and most of the best ones are taken. Midichlorians out? Yes, yes, yes. Give Leia a better arc in ROTJ, possibly where she realizes her Jedi nature in time to stop Luke from turning Dark? Definitely. Cast James Franco or Leo DiCaprio instead of Jake & Hayden, and make Anakin a…
