Its tall no doubt but it's still fairly slim so it will easily fit (assuming you lay it down) in a typical entertainment center. The problem with the X is the size AND the shape. I have no idea how I would/will fit that other than just standing on the floor next to my entertainment center 

Pretty sure digital already outsells physical by a pretty significant margin. The last of Us 2 sold 4 million over the first weekend and like 3 million of that was digital.

The funny thing is that often the people who say "my PS4 sounds like a jet engine" would also answer "no" when asked if they have ever cleaned the thing in the entire time they have had it lol.

If you want to believe that people are going to pass on a fully spec’d PS5 at $399 for a watered down Xbox at $299, have at it. But it seems very unlikely based on past evidence/sales and it’s not going to happen anyway so it’s a pointless comparison.

Anyone looking to buy a next gen system at launch probably isn’t worried about $100. It’s all moot though because the PS5 won’t be $399 anyway.

And Sony selling a true, full bore next gen system for only $100 more would be an even bigger win. I’m not sure how you could think sony would be the loser if they priced the digital version so cheap. No one even considering a buying a PS5 would pass on it for a Series S at that price.

Oh I agree. There is no chance it’s $399. I was merely responding to the idea the idea that Sony would lose out by doing so. They wouldn’t. Like, at all. It would sell like crazy.

Casual fans will see a PS5 for $399 and buy it. You realize how big the PS user base is, right?

If the discless PS5 comes in at $399 it is going to absolutely fly off the shelves. I don’t even want one that badly and I would buy it for $399.
