I believe the mini trailer at the beginning is for the unskippable 5 seconds when it’s shown as an ad on Youtube. More attention grabbing than a studio logo, or whatever.

Has it been explained what the deal was with the Resistance ships running out of fuel, and suddenly being unable to continue moving? I get that Star Wars physics aren’t realistic, but if you’re in space and can no longer thrust, don’t you just continue along the same path? The only explanation I could think of would…

I’m kind of surprised Dark Knight isn’t in the top 5 for biggest openings. Is that an inflation thing? Anecdotally, Dark Knight is the only movie I’ve ever attempted to see on opening weekend, but was unable to due to showings being sold out.
