Welp, I’m glad his demo was passed over for others then. Picking up the same synthesizer Vangelis used doesn’t mean you get the atmosphere or rhythm right, and this doesn’t at all match the atmosphere and tension of either the original movie or the atmosphere that they seem to be going for in the trailer or shorts.

The squelshy bass at the start is nice but the the snippet as a whole I’m not really into & there’s a nasty ringing sound (listening on Beyer DT 990's & KRK K-Rok Monitors). Sounds like a beat for a chase scene or some sort of action (and as someone already said, like music for your average isometic cyberpunk

Thank god they went in another direction. The music has been spot on in the trailers so far. This sounds like a reimagine of the original Planet of the Apes and not so much like Blade Runner.
