“Hail Hydra.”
And just for good measure...
Don’t worry, they probably brought their own Sham-Wow to clean up the mess after the visit. Seriously, though, that looks like the cast of a horrible comedy about lovable dumb hicks taking over the white house. “Look’et whose President’in!”
“I expect most of us will be bald and toothless by 2020.”
“...the stupid and lazy.”
I usually call our voters fickle, but this works too.
Don’t you know that too many regulations gives us cooties! Ewwwww!
This made it worth reading to the end of the comments.
Ahh, remember the days when “face-based reporting” was just called journalism? SMDH
Applegate may still unseat him! There are still tens of thousands of votes in that district being counted and Doug is only down by 3k-4k. Just a bit of hope...
I totally agree. I just don’t see what has been offered by Republicans in the past couple decades that would help working class people more than what has been talked up by Democrats.
“No one had any issue with this when Obama lost the popular vote”
When did that happen?
So pushing for economic policies that benefited primarily working class people wasn’t enough to make working class white people happy? Should the Democrats gone with tax cuts for the “job creators” instead? I’m confused as to what policies you think they need to shift to in order to win back these voters.
Dammit, TMZ, stay in your lane! At least now I have a preview of what will be inevitably posted in my Facebook feed by some of the more deplorable of my FB contacts.
You could try doing the mature thing, even if you didn’t want to vote for the top of the ticket, and figure out which candidates down-ballot you should support. Just a thought.

We just moved out of his district earlier this year but wish so badly that we could vote against Issa (again). Applegate is an awesome candidate!
We have noticed the lack of signs where we live this year as well, which is typically Republican, (Orange County, CA). You can probably chalk a lot of that up to lack of enthusiasm, but some also has to be attributed to the absolute absence of any ground game or serious GOTV effort.
