I only checked this to see if John Denver & the Muppets was here. It fills me with Christmas spirit to see that others recognized the travesty of not appreciating this holiday masterpiece.

All of the MCU movies have extensive reshoots though. I could’ve sworn they even bragged about it at one point. Last-minute reshoots were highlighted in all those articles about how bad crunch is for Marvel’s VFX vendors. It’s probably why these movies cost so much money too, which is why they need to make so much…
Maybe those articles have been written by A.I. this whole time. I wouldn’t know because I never click on them.

It’s a much better movie than a lot of the post-Endgame stuff. I think the biggest issue is that people paying for Disney+ no longer feel like paying even more to see every MCU film a couple months earlier. There’s no sense of urgency to justify that extra expense now.
I’ve never exactly been a fan of Iger, but I thought at least his return would be an improvement over Chapek’s time. Now it looks like he can’t even clear that low bar.
Honestly, at this point I’m starting to suspect that the publicity of killing Batgirl movie is probably worth something in itself. And you know what they say, “No such thing as bad publicity. Unless it’s for diddling kids.”
