Exactly. We see Steve Martin, Paul Simon, and Elliot Gould in that initial Five Timers Club skit with Hanks, and they were all “in the club” before that skit was even written. :)

No it was Buck Henry, back in 77. But Hanks was the first one to make reference to a "club".

I have no doubt that that starfucker Lorne Michaels has yukked it up with Kissinger at a cocktail party or two.

It’s funny and a bit sad that you think anyone is working on this show anymore, let alone watching it. They replaced both the audience and Lorne Michaels with ChatGPT long ago.

I was kinda hoping there would be a Henry Kissenger sketch. I mean come on, there’s no way anyone at SNL was friends with him? He’s not OJ Simpson. Oh who am I kidding I’m sure someone was.

I only checked this to see if John Denver & the Muppets was here. It fills me with Christmas spirit to see that others recognized the travesty of not appreciating this holiday masterpiece.

It’s all ridiculous, but I think there’s some genuine insight here into how the wealthy view the world.

Or the Muppets Christmas Carol and Emmet Otter soundtracks! Paul Williams really did some of his best work with the Muppets!

As someone who plays a lesbian journalist on The Morning Show, I am more offended by it as a lesbian than I am as a Jew,”

I came here to say this.

Just the first season. There are three seasons total.

All of the MCU movies have extensive reshoots though. I could’ve sworn they even bragged about it at one point. Last-minute reshoots were highlighted in all those articles about how bad crunch is for Marvel’s VFX vendors. It’s probably why these movies cost so much money too, which is why they need to make so much

Maybe those articles have been written by A.I. this whole time. I wouldn’t know because I never click on them.

For those who only watch regular TV, know nothing about streaming TV, and only clicked on this because you were excited to see regular TV mentioned in the news for once

That’s what the board thought too, and they’re supposed to be smarter than us normals in the ways of business.  Should’ve seen this coming...

It’s a much better movie than a lot of the post-Endgame stuff. I think the biggest issue is that people paying for Disney+ no longer feel like paying even more to see every MCU film a couple months earlier. There’s no sense of urgency to justify that extra expense now.

I’ve never exactly been a fan of Iger, but I thought at least his return would be an improvement over Chapek’s time. Now it looks like he can’t even clear that low bar.

Honestly, at this point I’m starting to suspect that the publicity of killing Batgirl movie is probably worth something in itself. And you know what they say, “No such thing as bad publicity. Unless it’s for diddling kids.”
