Beat me to it.

and self assured?

Holy fuck...was this season written entirely by boomers? What the fuck? Was Amy Schumer funny before or was it just a mass delusion?

Your article says “She was 65.”

Celebrity voice typecasting at its finest. While Pratt doesn’t really match the tone of voice I would expect for Mario, much less the accent, he’s excellent at the “everyman muddling about as best he can while being in it way over his head” voiceover, so I’m sure he’ll be fine here.

And Scooby Dee.

Pratt’s Mario voice is pretty meh, but that’s fine. The rest of it looks pretty awesome - and it was pretty cool to see Bowser and army take on the Penguin Kingdom guys.

Yeah, like it doesn’t sound any more or less right than if you put Jake Johnson or John Jakeson in the role. For all the PR about how Chris Pratt was toiling away trying to fine tune his Mario voice, it just sounds exactly like Chris Pratt in any other place. If you absolutely had to cast a celebrity in the role for

Sounds like he is playing Mario’s voice the exact same way he did Emmet Brickowski in The Lego Movie.

Looks: Gorgeous
Seems: Fun

I am so taken aback that this looks shockingly competent and entertaining. Not in love with Pratt, but the animation and style looks really good honestly.

They’ll complain they can’t relate to someone who has sex.

The “don’t ask me how, I just know” was so out of character for the Netflix Daredevil that it was hilarious.

There was a “Daredevil Hallway Fight” for his fans, and Jen messed it up before it got good.

Leapfrog seems like he belongs in The Tick universe.

The Sokovia Accords have been repealed. Seems like too big a deal to be revealed in a throwaway line. It’s an extremely new development since they were still a thing during Ms. Marvel.

I hate Luke Jacobson. Not only is he obnoxious, unreasonable, condescending, and

How much could Drunk History have cost to make?

To be fair, there are worse things. (At least it’s not The Cleveland Show again.)

Comedy Central is basically a Pluto TV channel, which is ironic since there’s a Comedy Central channel on Pluto TV. I actually prefer that one since they show old, original gems like Nathan for You and Detroiters and not just licensed reruns of Seinfeld, The Office and Friends on a loop like the flagship.

It’s just going to be All reruns of The Office, All the Time.

Hasn’t Comedy Central pretty much just been South Park and The Daily Show since Broad City ended? Back in 2019?
