I think the question is what WB got paid for letting Amazon air Lord of the Rings.   They’re 20-year-old movies which everyone has seen before, but which might briefly be something Amazon was willing to pay a lot for.  Companies are constantly agreeing to give up things that are valuable to them, for money.  That’s

I feel like other places (maybe here) have already hit the head on the nail on this.

It should be the Cobra Kai grand finale and crossover with 3 Ninjas, American Ninja, Ninja Turtles and Surf Ninjas.

Having it not acknowledge Cobra Kai, which 99% of the audience will have seen, seems like a huge mistake.

Surely Sony wouldn’t crap the bed with an existing popular franchise ... oh, wait.

Huh...

Yeah see I didn’t like that there was less supporting character stuff in general. Harley and Ivy are always the weakest part of the show for me.

I thought this season was generally a step up from S2 for a couple of reasons

He’s not quite as good as Kevin Conroy but he’s a close second in my book.

Didn’t they hire another Aidy Bryant clone several seasons back and let her go?

You’re probably spot on. I don’t think act breaks are actually necessary, at least in some shows, but they’re probably so ingrained in the way we watch television that without them the pacing feels off. Especially with a show like this, that as you say is much more typical of an network show. That’s why the episodes

Remember in Wonder Woman 84 when WW used the body an unconscious/non-consenting man for sex and put it repeatedly in harm’s way?

I thought this episode was hilarious. That “You don’t like Avongers? We’ve got Avingers” line is like peak Futurama quality. I remain mystified by people who aren’t able to key into the humor of the series. It’s more laugh out loud funny than a lot of sitcoms I’ve seen. It wouldn’t stand against anything truly great,

My own observations:
* I could go for more Pug/Nikki team-ups; they work well together and not in a “will-they/won’t-they” sense.

The CGI looks perfectly fine and I don’t notice any glaring issues with it.

In my lifetime I have seen many characters like Madisynn start out as annoying one note jokes only to become a popular fan favorite.

She was a *GREAT* joke of a person.

There’s a rich lineage of beloved TV characters that, if you were in a room with them IRL, would make you tear out your own eyes just for something to plug your ears with.

How is she popular? Do people not get that she was a joke of a person?

If you read the article, the only reason that they’re separate is because of Comcast’s minority stake in Hulu, and Chapek even says that Americans may be accepting of a Hulu/Disney+ combo.

When Hulu first launched it was like a way to watch OTA TV on demand for free without a DVR. I don’t really understand what it’s supposed to be now that it costs money and the few Hulu exclusives tend to be more miss than hit.
