Yup. I was a HUGE SpongeBob kid growing up and even back then, I could feel something was off about the new episodes that came out after the movie.

Wild how the Muppet special with a clear “made for streaming” budget is a thousand times better than either of Disney’s big-budget Haunted Mansion movies.
That’s the trick. As a Muppet fan, I see comments about this type of thing all the time when characters are recast (“I can do a better Kermit!”). It’s one thing to be able to do the voice and say their catchphrase, it’s another to actually have to carry a scene with a performance as the character. So frustrating how…
She’s unfabulous!
What’s wrong with this exactly?
The fact that season 2 got pushed to be burned off into the summer was probably not a good sign.
She and “Larry Bird” where like the only enjoyable aspect of The Neighbors.
Looks like Generic Sitcom #3411.3
And a pretty good joke that Oliver never say the Producers (since Martin Short was in it, in California at least).
The “was” in the headline is confusing me so much.
He’s on a very popular show that’s currently releasing new episodes, so it’s not *entirely* random.
“the rest of the TGS cast” Yes, all two of them.
I mean, I’m pretty sure that was the plan - have something big to promote for Halloween month, since it doesn’t really look like they have any other originals coming up other than, I dunno, some Nat Geo think about scarecrows or whatever.
I watched it earlier this year and I’m racking my brain on *anything* that actually happened in it.
That it does!
So, it’s better than 2? ‘Cause that wasn’t good. Neither was Nia Vardalos’ “My Life in Ruins.”
He’s the poster child for failing upwards.
It was me. I did it. So sorry everybody.
I have to imagine they want to debut it as a part of their October/Halloween programming, which means if it can’t come out this spooky season, it’ll wait for the next one. It’s why I think they put the Haunted Mansion movie out in *July*, so they could promote it coming to streaming just in time for Halloween.
I thought season 1 was fine, and haven’t gotten around to 2 yet. Guess I’m part of the problem, whoops!
