Yeah, but also all these movies don’t tie-in to each other very much, even when they attempt some continuity. So who’s to say whether this is just a one-off thing for this particular story or how they’ll handle things for the next DTV movies.

Klepper couldn’t get his own show off the ground, but who knows, maybe helming an established show would help him.

I also re-watched the first season the other day, and yes, he was still funny, but I had totally forgotten about his role in “Desking” and giving Gregory a path to deciding to be a full-time teacher instead of wallowing in not being principal.
He’s my favorite character, so I’m glad to see him get bumped up.

Lake Bell as Ivy is good when she just has to be sardonic, but the last two episodes where it necessitated she actually, like, emote, she really fell flat IMO.
