I have definitely checked out some movies because of your column; thanks for all the years of work!

Oh man, I totally misread the subject of this. I’m dumb!
Turning Fairly Odd-Parents into a Disney Chanel-esque three-camera sitcom was not on my 2022 Bingo card.
How could you leave out this all-time classic?
I also get the impression that this won’t be very serious, so I think he can play it any way they feel the comedy fits.
I think the method of animation hampers it. It’s not hand-drawn any more; they just make some stock poses, limbs, etc. and then just frame-by-frame move them around. It’s very limiting if done poorly, but it can be done pretty well (like those new Mickey shorts, or The Cuphead Show).
Thanks to the union, I believe they were able to get a nice severance.
Look up about their moving to LA and how they screwed over a bunch of staffers.
Don’t forget Cuphead!
I think like most procedural shows, it could get a bit repetitive, but “cop show translated to hall monitors, played exactly the same” is a great concept.
Disney has an advantage over some other streaming things that he have a pretty big catalog to pull from, yet it feels like they’re not trying to bother digging for neat, old stuff.
They did this kind of thing with season 3 of Infinity Train too. I think that one was 5, 3, 2 each week.
I’m ready for more Scoops Troop (and maybe they’ll make Erica entertaining this time).
I think they mean the episodes themselves are longer, like over an hour.
Murray from FOTC as a pirate has tons of potential.
Crew Meeting!
Yeah, that’s how my friends and I see it. It’s far from awful, nowhere near great.
Yeah, it’s not like Bonkers or Darkwing Duck where they were made from scratch.
It’s not really even 2D, as far as the Rescue Rangers are concerned; they’re like a cel-shaded CGI model.
Are you sure this wasn’t a Family Guy skit?
