In a league where Shaq and Barkley are two of the all-time greats (I know, I know - the game done changed), this shouldn’t even be a thing. And Seth spent too much time coaching college ball or else he would know NBA players don’t even get into game shape until January.

Jesus Christ, if Zion is fat, then I must be a beached fucking whale!

My concern isn’t with Greenberg’s TV appearances, it’s with how much shit he can eat. You can’t eat other things if you’re eating shit, and he can eat so much shit.”

These are all good questions. Also, what if Seth Greenberg eats shit? Worth considering at least- I mean, what if he shuts up about Zion, lets us enjoy things, and eats shit?  Everyone wins in this situation, right?

Think of all the cash and cars he can win barnstorming half-time shows at basketball games.

One presumes that Doc Gooden is the narrator for the whole song, but maybe “don’t call it a comeback, I’ve been here for years” was actually sung from the perspective of his coke habit.

I remember similar criticism of Tony Dungy after his son committed suicide. Its bad enough for these grieving parents, lets have some total stranger who knows nothing about the situation provide parental criticism. People are the worst.

Miami makes the most sense culturally -- on and off the court — for Westbrook. And in the depleted East, would help make them more viable. They’re not winning a title, but neither can 25 other teams.

Like grandpap always used to say. If you want it take it. Thug life

I've been praying that when Dick Cheney finally kicks the bucket it's on camera so I can re-use this caption.

That statement certainly sent shockwaves through the Summer League in Vegas.

Well done again Dave. +1

Remember that time he got the Warriors to let his wife perform the national anthem? That was cringe-tastic.

Right? Plus if the NBA really wants to blackball you, I’m pretty sure they don’t let you become one of the lead analysts with the national broadcast partner. Pretty sure you have to go broadcast local Suns games, because you’ll never be heard from again.

He is being blackballed from coaching in the NBA the same way that I am being blackballed from playing in the NBA.

Remember that one time he violated California law in order to secretly record conversations to spy on his “rivals” within the organization? It is a wonder why he can’t get another job.

You could call it being blackballed, but I can’t really fault GMs for being reluctant to hire a coach with a history of undermining and going to war with his front offices

We talking about playoffs? Playoffs are awesome, any team making the playoffs should celebrate with bat flips and those soccer sliding leg farts

Eh, it’s not championship or bust for them. Giving their fans a solid extra month of competitive, high-stakes games in each of the next couple springs, with the modest but real hope that stuff might break their way and get them into the Finals, is a fine goal. A good two-thirds of the fanbases in the league would be

Right, I get that they’re going in the tank, and thus wouldn’t want any actual good players back in the deal, but even the abstract assets they got here seem pretty shitty. As I said in the article, I’m not sure they could have done better, but it’s a bummer anyway. Conley’s still really good!
