“But I totally bought Ben Affleck as a weary, cynical Bruce Wayne.”

Not to mention that the film has some of the weakest merchandising of any superhero film since...Ghost Rider.

I thought he named it after her/him?

Ha!

Wow, that reporter really opened the flood gates on that tasteless joke.

Luke Babbitt is the poor man’s Adam Morrison. Played for Nevada Reno in college where he averaged about 22ppg and 9rpg while shooting 50/40/90. Just by his stats alone I thought he might be pretty good and then I saw him play. He’s fairly terrible.

Agreed, he does square up nicely now instead of shooting sideways although I think the hitch in his elbow placement is here to stay. It’s a comfort thing with him that’s a fatal flaw in his form. It might get fixed over time, but fixed for him will never mean he’s going to be even a 30% shooter on 3's in his best

An abomination. You’re looking at an abomination.

He’s got a molasses slow release despite not jumping 2 inches off the ground. It’s the kind of jump shot you’d see at the IBM Country Club, not the NBA. It’s not too dissimilar to Luke Babbit’s 3 ball.

Wait, Triple H is going to exclude Chyna from the Hall of Fame for doing porn? That motherfucker was in Blade -fucking- 3 which is way worse than “starring” in scat porn.

Nope, the Knicks are taking a Blatt.

Like the sage ghost of Tom Landry?

Thanks Sam, I really enjoyed your article as well.

I got to play with Pearl in the summer of 86, right after he got drafted by the Nets. My father was a coach who had a camp at Pace University in Manhattan. He had coached against Pearl in HS and coached him in AAU ball. I played hockey, but since I was living with my dad that summer I ended up going to his hoops camp

“Hey Steph, what did the five fingers say to the face?"

I heard that Kodiak cures that sort of thing. Just a pinch between your gums and the festering pus filled scab that was once your cheek.

Harden’s not an easy guy to stop. Guy knows how to draw fouls better than any player I’ve seen since Adrian Dantley, and Dantley was a post player. I mean, there are ways to throw him off his game and get him into a poor shooting night, but even if he shoots 1-20 he’ll still shoot 15 free throws. Unless they outlaw

I’d say Harden, even with his deficiencies on defense and prodigious turnover rate is better. Hard to compare Howard to him since they play completely different positions.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that Ariza is the best player on the team, but he’s an extremely valuable role player on any team he’s played for due to the reasons you listed above.

That’s understandable then I guess. Take some solace in knowing that this is a fairly weak draft class.
