I wasn't aware "yachting" was considered scandalous in the 30's. Or was it drunken sexy yachting?

She was certainly terrific in Logan. Reminded me of the first time I saw Millie Bobbie Brown in the (admittedly pretty terrible) BBC show Intruders - just an amazing ability to convey depth beyond her years.

"Danger's a little like Jell-O. There's always room for a little more."

Goddammit, they've done everything right (with the exception of casting Leto) to get me actually wanting to see this movie, which I was militantly opposed to when I first heard it was a thing.

True story: me and a few buddies once took a road trip to California in high school, and we realized about an hour into it that the only music anyone had brought was the cassingle of "Get Outta My Dreams (Get Into My Car)". We played nothing but that (and the side-B remix!) there and back, 6 hours both ways. It became

I still use "That train has sailed" in everyday conversation. I think the first movie is a stone cold classic that's still as funny today as it was when it was released.

So, is Jericho full-on retiring, or is this just a long hiatus to focus on the band? I've heard both. I certainly hope he comes back eventually, he's long been one of the most entertaining superstars in wrestling.

"Vol. 2 can only be as irreverent as it is broadly and shamelessly derivative"

YES.

I've been an AV Clubber for a long time, and I literally just realized they have WWE coverage about a month ago. It was like finding a present under the tree the day after Christmas.

Agreed. Pleasantly surprised, loved the Jericho win (although I'm guessing that's gonna be moot 18 hours from now) and the Neville/Aries match.

Very pleased with tonight. I thought for sure Angle was gonna pull an eyeroll and tell Wyatt to cut the supernatural horseshit, I thought this was a great opportunity to de-mystify the hokum a bit and bring him back down to Earth. (Him just staring at Wyatt like he was a crazy person was still pretty great though.)

At a time when overwhelming popular support for a free press is at its highest in decades, it must really suck to be the biggest news division in the country and STILL have everyone reveling in your downfall.

Classy.

But enough about Breitbart commenters!

I remember when the title "president" kind of carried a de facto job description of "taking responsibility for what happens under your watch", but I guess we live in strange times.

From the director's quote, it sounds like this movie might be trying to be three things too many.

Laughed a ton during this film back in the day, all the way up to that incredibly dark ending. Good score by Knopfler, too.

Aw man, i crushed hard on her in Space Camp. She was totally my secret girlfriend.

It'll have gotten more time on Netflix than I would have guessed when the move was announced. And the seasons generally speaking have been better, for the reasons Evil Lincoln states above.
