I have nearly every version of Hearts of Iron, and still haven't found a single one of them playable. I buy every new one with a newfound hope, though. CK1/2 are still impenetrable to me.

"It just takes hearing the right song at the right time."

"Guys, wait a minute! Have you ever seen Indiana Jones and Han Solo together in the same room?!?"

DOOM was a fantastic surprise, and probably the first FPS game I've played in years that really was just a boatload of speed, action, and fun. Loved the huge, expansive levels that allowed time to explore after you'd mowed down the hordes, and even the modern touches like the RPG elements, mini-challenges, upgrades,

Surprised there's been no mention of XCOM 2, a nearly perfect sequel that improves the original XCOM in almost every way.

For me, it's The Rats In The Walls. That ending was such a gut punch, and even though I know it's coming, it still horrifies me every time. Second choice is probably Colour Out of Space, which is a remarkably tight story.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but two seasons of Daredevil have pretty much killed my interest in any sort of ninja-based shenanigans. I am at Peak Ninja, and having them as the antagonists in Defenders lessens my interest in that series, which is disappointing.

I think she's a very good actress, the problem I have with her is that she just looks far too young for the world-weary, hard-bitten Jessica Jones character. She doesn't look like she has enough miles on her from torment and alcohol - about 10 years too young IMO.

Is "Stop & Squat" a place, or an Ozark mating ritual? Asking for a friend.

"Luanne Gets Lucky" might be my favorite KOTH episode simply for the conceit of "Stumpin'" as a hobby and magazine. Petty is outstanding in the role.

Pack up the Plantation is an AMAZING record, if only for the Petty/Heartbreakers version of "Shout". "Stories We Could Tell" is another great one, and I so wish the album had their cover of "Little Bit O'Soul" and "Route 66" like the video does.

We refer to that as the "Double Jimmy".

After recently revisiting DS9 for the first time really since it was on TV, I have to change my vote from being a diehard Kirk man to being firmly in the Sisko camp. The man is just the total "commanding officer" package, and definitely the one I'd want in my camp leading us through perils foreign and domestic.

I'm so down for this. Get them out of the interminable, boring, Inhumans not-gonna-be-a-thing-no-matter-how-hard-you-try plotlines, and bring in some goddamned Marvel Super Heroes (TM).

Double dumbass on YOU!

For real, I mean did Noah even LOOK at that photo of the dress?!?

Yeah, I think "naive" or "arrogant" is probably a better description.

Precisely! Killjoys' world has weight to it, and I get a sense of who the factions are, how the political system works, etc. In DM, there's… the government? Fighting terrorists over… something? And some corporations? And an emperor… of something? I think?

This might be my favorite TV drama of the last 10 years; smart, thoughtful sci-fi that gave a damn about the characters and wasn't afraid to play it goofy and funny when the situation called for it. The real inheritor to the X-Files legacy. Sort of a miracle that it lasted as long as it did - and as much hate as they

My favorite Three moment from S1 was his description of Charlotte's Web:
