"High Command of the Federation" sounds like a title straight out of a fifth-grader's Trek fanfic.

I just mentioned this to a co-worker, and he just shook his head at me. THE FUTURE IS NOW!
Saw them last year open for Peter Frampton and was delighted - they haven't lost a step, and far from being an "oldies" act, they've got just as much swagger and attitude as they did in their heyday. I was expecting a warmed-over greatest hits show, but it was terrific - Nielsen engaged with the audience, the music…
Well, I never thought anything could make me stop associating "Marvel Civil War" with "unadulterated shit", but damn if they didn't do it. Love the 60's Spidey look, loved the Ant-Man flying in on Hawkeye's arrow, and really dig the Black Panther look. I'm totally in.
Alpha Protocol, now and forever. The voice acting is uniformly terrible. The combat is clunky at best, buggy at worst. The game is so wildly unbalanced that you can screw yourself out of being able to complete it with bad skill choices. The graphics are, being extremely generous, "adequate".
I kind of wish Sadler was playing MarvelPrez as if he was the same guy as his character in Die Hard 2. Dude was cold.
Get a wardrobe over here right away; take God's clothes!
I can't believe I've actually had to have this conversation with grown adults, to basically make the point: "Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean it should be free."
God's Not Dead 5: God Takes Manhattan (To Task For Its Godless Ways, Which Are Bad, Because As We Established Earlier In This Title, God Is In Fact Not Dead For The Fifth Time Now)
I expected to read this mockingly, but I was surprised at how reasonable Jackee seems to be in terms of assessing her career, and while she certainly has a high opinion of herself (which is no crime) I thought it seemed like a pretty genuine interview. Basically, after reading I realized I like her more than I thought…
The concept is ludicrous on its own, but credit where it's due - I was laughing the entire way through. Well done, Hughes.
IMO, Williams’ theme to Superman is still weirdly underrated. Soaring, triumphant, heroic. I love the Raiders March, but Superman gets me right in the emotions every time.
Oh yeah. "Come on down and enter our Big Game Giveaway!" "Make sure you're stocked up on refreshments for Championship Sunday!" "You could win 2 tickets to the Game Of The Year in our Game Of The Year Challenge!"
It's always weird to hear local radio spots talk around the Super Bowl with euphemisms like "The Big Game" and "Championship Sunday" when advertising contests, TV sales, and parties.
Have you and Mr. Milksteaks thought about combining into an ubercommenter? It would really help me from having to remember who's Milkbike and who's Dirtproof here.
Southern Accents is such a strange album. It had a troubled production, and it sounds like it. I guess it started as a concept album about the South, but kind of fell apart (as apparently did Petty at the time). The results are all over the place, although there are some good songs on there ("Southern Accent", "The…
Yeah, NDT and B.o.B. got nothing on those old school Portugal-Spain beefs.
I cannot wait for the response track from the Magellan Boyz.
Which makes Fox look even worse (and dumber). There was no way this was going to happen without her, and if they didn't think that she'd be pissed about half pay then they really are morons. The endgame was always going to be in her favor. Thank goodness.
January Man is a movie that I find fascinating, if not exactly… well, good. It's got a great cast, but yeah - the tone is all over the place. Rickman and Kline are at least committed, though, so I stop flipping channels whenever I see it on.
