My Xbox One X got bricked because something happened to it during a firmware update. Thankfully it happened only a few months before the Series X launched, so I just waited it out and replaced it with one of those.

But where’s Ed!?
It’s a maaaaybe with No More Heroes III for me. I really enjoyed the first two mainline games, but the previews I’ve seen of III look so rough. I really don’t like the new character designs. Despite being on more modern hardware, Travis somehow looks worse artistically in III than he did in the first two games. And…
Back in the day, I also didn’t realize that Silpheed used prerendered backgrounds. It didn’t change my pooping habits though.
This is seriously awesome. The gyro controls on Switch are perfect!
It looked a lot better. One of the most improved trailer to trailer differences I’ve seen.
Nothing new for me again this week. Well I suppose Tetris Effect Connected counts, but that’s just a free update on PS4 since I already own it. Still excited to finally try out the multiplayer in the game.
Interesting. I’ve never heard of that one.
I don’t really get the Streets of Rage 4 joke, and I played through that entire game.
From my own experience? It’s definitely the point. XD
The SNES version of Aladdin is unquestionably the better game. Not surprising considering it was developed by Capcom (and Shinji Mikami). Anyone who think the Genesis version is better either hasn’t played the SNES game, or just looked at the visuals.
They just don’t want to develop two different versions. It’s a lot of work to down port to Switch, and they’d rather release it on multiple platforms to reach the most players, so they focus on the higher end platforms..
I’m definitely not playing the demo, because I want to go into the final game fresh. I’ve been a huge fan of the series since Eternia on the PS1.
How on earth was this not already a thing?
That’s totally Ness in the background in that screen shot at the top. :P
Nothing for me this week. Which is fine, because I’m still making my way through The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Blaster Master Zero 3.
Umm...yes? I literally said it was 13 Sentinels in my post. That’s specifically what excited me about it. Because I love that game.
I’ve always wanted to see a 2D Super Mario Bros. game with pixel art like this. But no, we instead got stuck with the generic plastic 3D visuals for the New SMB games. There’s a reason why the SNES Yoshi’s Island game is the best looking “Mario” game ever. It’s insanely gorgeous pixel art would look amazing in a more…
So much for listening to your employees. Yeesh. Pure scum.
To be fair, Nintendo has a long history of being way ahead of the curve with game design.
