Ironically, I actually did earn cash by mowing lawns back in the day.

By that logic, everything in gaming is grinding. Collecting coins in Super Mario Bros is a grind! Sneaking in Metal Gear is a grind! Dropping blocks in Tetris is a grind!
The Xenoblade games are some of the least grindy JRPGs I’ve ever played. And I’ve been playing JRPGs since Dragon Warrior on the NES. Monolith literally designed those games to be the anti JRPG in terms of game design. They provide so many ways to level up your party outside of combat. And you can just focus on the…
Monolish Soft has grown into one of my absolute favorite game development studios on the planet. The Xenoblade games, all three of them, are unquestionable masterpieces in my opinion. And I really really hope Xenoblade X sees a Switch port some day. That game is just too good to be stuck on the Wii U.
I bought, and loved, a ton of third party games on the Wii. Zack and Wiki, Trauma Team, Deadly Creatures, Red Steel 2, Dead Space: Extraction, Tatsunoko vs Capcom....and so many more. The Wii was a freaking treasure trove of excellent third party games. Anyone who says otherwise wasn’t paying attention.
It’s been so long since I played through the original. I barely even remember what the story was about. Still, I’m excited! At least the anime will refresh my memory of the first game.
PSVR is what convinced me that VR is just not for me. Between motion sickness issues and just incredible discomfort in wearing the headset in general. Super not for me.
That is one heck of a dick move during this pandemic when offline tournaments are just not possible. I get their reasoning for it. But they could have looked the other way until at least the pandemic is behind us.
This. Melee was released on the Gamecube in 2001. Only two weeks after the launch of the console. It had zero online functionality, and for the time, understandably so.
Wow. Absolutely gross.
Only if your lubed butter is filled with sand and glass shards...
Understandable. It’s a shame though, because it’s my favorite of the bunch. And easily has the highest quality artwork in my opinion.
That’s because it released last week. I’ve been playing it since last Tuesday.
I need to take a wait and see approach to Age of Calamity. The demo was...rough. Hopefully the final game runs at least slightly better, though I’ll be surprised if it does.
Not even a rerun for Life in Aggro this week. :(
Oh wow, I thought it was something wrong with my Apple TV. I deleted the Youtube app, and redownloaded it. And then it worked. So I guess it just must have gone back online while I was doing that?
from what I’ve seen of the remake so far it looks pretty faithful to the original.
That’s not McGruff. It’s not even the same kind of dog. It’s just a general Watch “Dog” joke.
If I’m actually able to get both consoles this week, I will. That’s a big if though. My gut tells me that I’m **** out of luck.
I really don’t think that’s it. I think, like someone else pointed out, he just mistook Life in Aggro for Double XP. I know who McGruff is. I grew up with him. He takes a bite outta crime. I don’t think Double XP is referencing McGruff at all. I think he’s just doing a general Watch “Dog” pun.
