Seriously, the vocal minority has proven to just be a typical toxic fanbase that needs to shut the hell up already. We know the game isn’t perfect and has its share of problems—some rather severe. That’s not in dispute. But the lengths that some fans have gone to bitch, moan, and even outright threaten others over it…

This article is pretty disingenuous in that it doesn’t even touch on the fact that they couldn’t include Mai without changing the age rating for the game. That’s specifically why they couldn’t include her. The comment in the presentation was just them making light of a situation they had no control over.

This presentation was incredible. Sakurai is an absolute treasure. His love for classic fighting games is abundantly clear, and I love it.
