Times are changing...in the next decade this is what you will see from now on. Yes there will still be the rare Yenko or Boss mustange, hell even John Cena’s GT will still be on the auction block....but most of the cars will be the 80s and 90s cars that most of us still dream and lust over.
It sucks that as a sport, this is way more business and bottom line $$ than true enjoyment.

Exactly my point. They hired (and brought over) specific people to work out of that NY office. The general staff of Cadillac was left in MI. Most people would want to stay and not pay the high rent/living cost...but those selected folks making bank and being used to city life...made total sense.
I think ego was the driving factor but yes I would agree with you. Well that and when you are charging most of your live on a corporate card you don’t care where you spend your money.
