Okay I’m not a big fan of Ryan Murphy but I’m so on board with this.  The story of Truman Capote, and how he destroyed his social status with a single publication, it jaw dropping and tragic. 

If it’s labeled as much as anything else is (usually not) and identified when brought in as everything else is, due diligence has been done. It’d be stupid to put a big sign over it saying “WARNING: DOES NOT CONTAIN MEAT” when the reverse does not apply to those that do.

That doesn’t imply tricking anyone. Tricking would be, if someone asked what it was and they were lied to. You’ve never been at a shindig and grabbed something that looks good and just ate it?

That’s a bad faith reading of my comment if all you got was the proven-until-innocent tried and true contrarian argument. He by all means is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. But I’m not a court of law, nor do I claim to be.

I just want them to bring back fries fried in animal fat again, they’ve never tasted quite right since they stopped.

Here in Canada , for a family of 4 we are getting close to 40 - 50 dollars for Mcdonald’s when we could get more complete meals from other restaurants for a similar price. 

For me, the convenience of fast food no longer outweighs the cost. All my other arguments for and against, while valid, are moot once that is true.
