I think it’s important to bear in mind that these people are not True Believers. She’s manipulating people. She’s not actually this dumb and this is not her ideology, it’s the ideology she finds most profitable right now. At some point when she was younger and less desperate for fame, seeing her whole life stretched

Dorinda has been my favorite since she started, but it has been hard watching her this year. This show can’t be good for her.
I hope she gets some peace and healing.

This line made me laugh out loud. On the rare occasion I start a sentence with “my therapist suggests...” it is always a way to signal my embarrassment about my foibles. It isn’t easy changing habits of mind, but awareness is the first step. Joan is funny. If you don’t enjoy snark, why on earth read Jezebel at all?

Oh boo hoo. I am so glad they are taking this woman off the air.

We have watched the deterioration of her mental health for awhile now and this is the right outcome. It was unsettling to watch her each week. She is incredibly unwell, unhappy, angry and drinking/drugging an insane amount. I hope she gets the help she needs.

Yeah, the thing about the Office is that even if it doesn’t tick all the boxes required of 2019 shows to be deemed sanctified by the sanctimonious, it still resonates with a lot of people.

Oh, you trolls mad?

No, they really don’t. I live in the US but I’m not from here, and luckily I work for an international employer so my rights are waaaaay beyond anything most people in the US have. It’s fucking insane. Jezebel needs to stop obsessing on only reporting about companies run by women and that millennials are into (but of

In America, our rights are primarily gun-focused.

Jesus Christ don’t you have ANY employment rights in your country? I mean, over here, my boss tells me to do ANYTHING that isn’t in my job description i can tell him to go fuck himself, he wants to make a fuss? I can drag his arse straight to an employment tribunal who will side with me until my employer can prove I

It’ll reportedly cover Chasten’s experience with homelessness, suicidal thoughts, and sexual assault, among other things, and he hopes it’ll speak to people struggling with similar issues.

Apostrophe key still broken!

I saw a woman literally picking up every cut of beef, looking it over, and putting it back down. I wanted to scream. She looked so offended when I grabbed one and walked away. Yeah because I’m the asshole in this situation.

Being from the same state and around the same age, I might read it once it gets to the library as a lazy read. Kind of curious about a first-person view of what it was like to grow up in Traverse City during the 90's-early 2000's. It’s changed a lot in just the last four years.

While I’m disinclined toward this trope, it is the very definition of “white privilege.” As a gay man, I could care less about a memoir from the essentially unknown and milquetoast husband of Mayo Pete, the 2020 candidate even less qualified and/or interesting than Beto O’Roarke.

I’m hoping we are all more responsible consumers by the end of this.

When I read that blurb, I thought: So, you’re* the one who makes my trips for groceries actual hell.

No one seemed to be like “get away from me” when I walked next to them. That’s what I’ve encountered at grocery stores.
