I was thinking the same thing. The problem with the Saw films is not only the violence. I also find it hilarious that the parent will let them watch untold amounts of gory violence but won’t let them see Bird Box because of sexual content.

Well, we’ll see what it’s worth, because the airlines are now coming for $50 billion in bailouts. They’ve been raking in profits for some time now (pretty much all of which went to stock buybacks), but now say they won’t make it to the end of the year without taxpayer assistance.

I think it’s difficult to be very hard on a bunch of teenaged girls who are just trying to keep one another safe, and maybe don’t have the vocabulary or experience to differentiate from random social awkwardness, and genuinely “red flag” behavior—but given, one again, that it’s a bunch of girls ostenbily just trying…

If there’s a punch clock involved then I wouldn’t be surprised if that person needs to show up to work in order to get paid and survive.

Sigh.

Sadly if enough people still showed up they’d just mark you as AWOL or something and dock your pay. Sitting in at the end of the production line at least doubles as a strike and guarantees any other workers who called in wouldn’t be productive either.
