The problem is that we can’t figure out how to be the popular kid (for the life of me I can’t) I mean, look at Obamacare. There are more ACA-dependant insurance policies in red states than in blue states. This is a massive win for people. Everyone said that we need to do something about health insurance, and we did

All I’m saying is that in the meantime they pollute more than almost anyone else on the continent and are continueing to build more coal generation at an astounding rate, and yet they are constantly praised as a green powerhouse. If it’s greenwashing, it’s going very well. if not, then whatever they’re trying to do

True, but It’s worth noting that neither Norway or the UK have as expensive of energy, nor are they 2 decades into a massive national initiative to build clean energy infrastructure. Their per capita emissions aren’t bad, (Though fore the above reasons, I think they should be better) but their Per Kilowatt emissions

If you have some of the highest emissions in Europe, and some of the most expensive electricity in Europe, then the amount of your energy you get from wind and solar is pretty meaningless. In the end all that does is Green-wash their horrible coal problem. The sad truth is that they’re doing more damage to the planet

True, and yeah that’s what I meant by “Bible People”

Germany actually has some of the dirtiest electricity in Europe. (https://electricitymap.tmrow.co/). In spite of dropping many billions into their energy plan to replace fossil fuels and nuclear energy with solar and wind, their emissions have actually increased lately. The only real way forward in emissions

The bible people only care if it’s gay or pregnant. See how these supposed “family value” voters lined up down the street to cast their ballot for Multi-affair, multi-divorce “pussy-grabber” in chief.

“post grunge adjacent” is my genre name

Na, Moonlight will get it. A. because it’s a good movie, and B. as a response to all the yelling from last year

Let’s be honest, that tape is worth WAY more than that.

I’ll admit that I haven’t used a VR rig yet (Really want to) but I have to say I just don’t see how it could work well without an omni-directional treadmill of some kind. If you had a really big room, the VR rig could subtly drive you in circles, but with the space the average user will have, I feel like using VR

add enough dog hair and a normal roomba can do that too.

...too easy.

Too late. I have lots of ideas.

“And Trump isn’t president. So you are attempting to mischaracterize Trump’s words as something they are not.”

Which is why it’s so perplexing that in other conversations on this thread, I’ve seen you declaring China’s agreeing to return the drone as an example of Trump’s leadership.

We have to be willing to take that chance...for science...

And Yet Conservatives are can’t stop Swooning over Putins regime...

Whatever you say Comrade. I mean if you want to reduce it to “countries the US has a less friendly relationship with that conservatives seem desperate to bend over for”, we can always talk about Russia.
