I rewatched the whole series 2 years ago and it still holds up really well. It’s crazy to me that in the early seasons people thought Walton Goggins wasn’t a terrific actor because he’s incredible throughout.
Oh, she most definitely took the money.
Before the Kinjapocalypse you could click on a review for an unimportant midseason episode of a show nobody remembered one year after it ended, and you’d get comments in the triple digits.
Nice of you to post this when this site basically ignored this seasons existence. You didn’t review it or provide any but the barest of mentions. And AV wasn’t alone. It was ignored by most of the entertainment press and got less than half the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes that the first season got. One of the best shows…
When they show the Russian NASA astronaut in a video call to his wife and kid, with real time responses.
I’m in.
I have very conflicting feelings about this show, but I don’t think I can watch it anymore after last season. The dialogue, acting, and visuals are all so top notch it’s hard not to be intrigued. Folks, there we have it. Peak Barsanti.
If we wanna get technical, Mayim is the sole host, with Ken guesting every few weeks. This will likely change next season, but as of now, that’s how it is.
So funny is subjective, but talent? He is a trained animator who has written and produced (and been show runner) for multiple shows, is a known voice actor who can also do imitations, written and directed several films, is a well regarded singer who has put out many albums and recordings, has several productions…
I don’t understand why so many seem to view Howard as a dick.
Not surprised we got the alien encounter sketch, which is probably Kate’s most memorable role on the show (that or Ginsburg would be my pick). And that was a really nice way to go out.
Not really related other than that they both air on monday, but I can’t believe HBO is currently airing the closest thing we’ll ever get to “The Wire 2" and this site isn’t recapping it.
