In Henry IV, only the nobles speak in iambic pentameter. Falstaff (Hanks’ character) speaks in prose.

You can’t compare The Good Place to Westworld. The Good Place burns through more plot in any 22-minute episode than Westworld manages in an entire season. That’s not a complaint. The storytelling on The Good Place is downright propulsive, while we’re on week 7 of the “Dolores wants like... a weapon or something...”…

Superhero movies aren’t about whether our heroes survive. There’s never even a question about whether they’ll win. We watch to see how they win. Thanos has all the stones and our heroes’ ranks are diminished by half. That’s the drama. How do they win when they’ve already lost?
