True. That said, low 50s is historically high for support at the beginning of impeachment proceedings. Usually support starts low but rises as more information is unearthed.
I don't know. The vast majority of voting age Americans simply don't pay attention. If they were, the polls would be much higher in favor of Impeachment and removal.
Exactly this. Impeachment needs to reach at least 60% public support to actually have a shot at *removal*. We’re in the low-to-mid 50's.

It doesn’t matter. Trump can say: “this is a quid pro quo situation and I want you to give me information on Biden so I can use it in my campaign — some thing that is very valuable to me and my 2020 campaign —or else I will not provide any further aid” and it wouldn’t move the needle that much.
