It does. Otherwise a guy could just turn off his Kinect and yell "Xbox Turn Off"

Try Avadon: The Black Fortress on steam. Super cheap and is exactly what you're describing. It even uses very similar visuals to BG.

Actually that's not true. Clearly darker skinned people were not allowed to enter.

They have great ideas but they tend to release pretty buggy games. This isn't always their fault but to say they do a better job than most isn't really true on the technical side.

Why? Why can't you just be happy for the gamers that are looking forward to this? Or be happy that Obsidian is able to work on Project Eternity at the same time? Why do you have to have such a selfish worldview?

Oh wow, tell me more about how you have more insider knowledge of Nintendo's fiscal performance last year than Nintendo itself. Did you get your knowledge directly from a bull's posterior yourself or did you receive it second-hand?

This. MMO is one genre where I don't care about star power. They should've saved this one for Fallout 4 or TES 6.

No you don't. Don't be redundant. If you want to be a pitchfork wielding internet neckbeard, by all means, hate on something for no reason, but I guarantee that few people were affected by your rant. Attempt to make a mark on the world in a more productive way.

Statements aren't what keeps devs away, it's the audience, the sales, the online infrastructure, the policies, etc. People who bought the Wii U bought it for the Nintendo games, not the 3rd party potential. A lot of money has to be invested into making a high quality 3rd party game that it seems like Nintendo isn't

Developers have a lot more freedom with what and where they release games, leading to an exponentially more variety, modding is virtually possible in any
