So? I don't play games for wow factor. It certainly helped with AC, but doesn't change the fact that at the core of it all, I found a game that was fun.

Are you serious? Please name other shooters that have the kind of aerial combat, on-the-fly self-upgrading single player campaign that this game has.

I loved modding the game to have darker nights. Wandering around with a flashlight with all these lampposts really makes wandering the wasteland feel that much more like you're wandering the wasteland. And of course, having a firefight with bandits in a poorly lit gas station makes it feel more real.

Criticize Mojang all you want. Just come up with a better reason than "there wasn't a shiny enough ribbon on the concept video they gave me." And there is context to the video. The only knew things between this video and the last one are sounds, some more computer interaction and the robot character which Mojang gives

Well then you seem to be referring to sparring. You spar. Not play.

True, the government takes your earned money, but the government also does a hell lot to make sure you have the chance to earn that money and stay safe while doing so. It's not like someone working for minimum wage has earned their money less than someone rich (if not moreso).

What payment methods do people use for transactions this expensive? Does Paypal allow for $2 million transfers?

Except that even if you took every single asset that lower class and those in poverty had, it still wouldn't equate the revenue that a 3% tax raise on the top 1% would. The amount the lower and middle classes have to sacrifice is huge compared to how much the rich would have to sacrifice to lower the damn debt in this

I don't get it. You get pissy because all the concepts haven't been fully implemented and then you get pissy that he's showing us the game in alpha stage?

You do know that you're looking at a game in alpha stage, right? For crying out loud, the last one they showed didn't even have sound. People like you are why most devs don't showcase anything until way later in development, Mojang is giving us the benefit of seeing the game through its development from the beginning.

Yeah, it was a really weak pitch because you could tell that they really only had ideas bouncing around in their heads, while Project Eternity had a vision for more than just the concept of the game.

So maybe Republicans should get on that 3% tax raise for millionares and billionares and support the welfare that helps hungry people.

Nevermind, I went back to my source and it was speculation, not official. Reading more about it, it's highly unlikely that Columbia exists in the same world as Rapture, but there was a statement by a dev that the Rapture stuff in the trailer were there for a reason. Maybe, as you suggested, an alternate reality is

You could "practice" karate. You could "do" karate. You could "perform" karate. You could "learn" karate.

Well in regards to organized physical activities, "play" can be used to describe sports and competitive martial arts can be considered sports (although tai chi competitions are very different).

Not food for thought. It's been confirmed that Rapture is built later in this same world. It is not an alternate reality.

You seriously think "bio" means environment?

Why? Are you completely unfamiliar with what "bio" means? It looks to me that there's as much unholy tinkering with life in this game as there was in Bioshock. If they want to connect this world with the world that built Rapture, then naming this game anything else would just confuse things. It was called Bioshock,

Interesting. Are you sure it isn't people who's second language is English? In a lot of other languages, it would be correct to say you "play" a martial art, but not really in English. In my experience doing tai chi, I have never heard anyone say they "play" it.

No Lucky Charms?
