It took Nissan/Renault to design it. It’s a rebadge.

The Smart offers no advantage unless you live someplace with lots of fractional parking spaces such as San Francisco. Then it’s a game-changer.

I can’t say this car makes a ton of sense in America at large (sales reflect that) but in the cities for which it was designed, it’s super lovely. I do love the current Fiesta and have spent a fair bit of time in them going fairly sideways, but I do not begrudge anybody who goes for the Smart. These things are fun.

Finding parking for one of these in a city is enough appeal for some.

These suckers have been rolling out on Car2G0 here in Montreal, and they are so drastically improved over the previous generation that I’m not even sure what the engineers were doing for the gen2 car. The interior finally makes sense, the ride is downright pleasant, the engine actually has perceivable torque and, most

Chicken played a keyboard? No big deal. This rooster sounds like a Formula 1 car.

That fucking chicken just stole this article’s thunder.

Truecar obviously isn’t the statistical end all be all, but that’s a pretty evenly spread curve that has a 4-5k range. For a V6 Camry.

So...what you’re saying is that you make the negotiation process so agonizing that you hope people just don’t do it to avoid dealing with you? Did I read that right?

Of course, there’s other money in play as with anything

Sorry buddy, here’s the only thing I’m “inferring” and it’s a direct quote:

That’s a great story and all, but I saved over $3k (around 7%) on the last car we bought, and we’re still very happy with it four years in. I’m guessing the 32 people who have starred your post either sell cars for a living (wishful thinking) or are the kind of people who pay MSRP and are looking for validation.

Did that $550 margin include the manufacturer hold-back (usually around a thousand bucks) and quarterly and annual bonuses (assuming you hit those respective sales targets)?

Didn’t/doesn’t Gates have a Porsche 959?

“He bought three at MSRP and was the happiest guy I ever sold to”

Do I feel bad for them? Yes. Being “car poor” is the worst kind of stupid I can imagine. Especially when it’s being done solely for the sake of appearances. If you can’t hang with the big dogs financially, there’s no sense in tapping out your wallet on that Benz, Bimmer, Lexus or Tesla. Do something smart with

Now, would you classify these guys as jamokes? Or jabronis?
