Eh, I don't think that covers the whole picture. The "personhood definition" was the reference to the Dictionary Act used by the Court.

huh? i dont think you were intending to respond to me.
boring
Unless this guy is a for-profit muslim corporation, there's no link between Hobby Lobby and this case. RFRA is a bat-shit fucking crazy law but Hobby Lobby didn't make it magically applicable to muslim natural persons. It always was. Hobby Lobby just made it applicable to corporations.
unless its a muslim for-profit corporation then I'm not sure it will even make it there. This terrorist dude, like the terrorist dude who successfully invoked RFRA before the hobby lobby decision, has the law on his side. There's not much the courts can do.
Yeah but RFRA got a lot of votes from Dems too when it became law. Its a bit like DOMA. We helped make this happen and, unfortunately, we're the only ones trying to make it right
actually congress broke it. If you read the article, the first time a prisoner used it was before the Hobby Lobby decision. RFRA is a law that provides the argument here. Hobby Lobby was a case that applied the law and interpreted it to apply to for-profit corporations. An idiotic decision, but completely irrelevant…
your comment is non-sensical. My main point is that gerrymandering is a big lark and literally has nothing to do with the current party of statewide office holders in Texas (you can't gerrymander the borders of the state of Texas). It's demographics.
The DNC should quit on statewide elections until demographics…
gerrymandering has nothing to do with statewide elections, of which there are like a dozen with ZERO dems in office. Lt Governor is one of these so your comment doesnt make a whole lot of sense here.
Where was the dude that Tyrese didn't kill from the shed? I missed him.
Did they pan to him around the fire?
within 1 yard. its in the rule I believe
this is no different then a ref telling a basketball player to back up on the free throw to avoid a lane violation. Its a fundamental principle of refereeing in all sports that you avoid calling tick-tack administrative penalties and manage the game to keep it going.
you know she's not being nominated for AG right?
This is why the liberal obsession with race becomes insufferable
the last story's ending doesnt make sense? Was there some sort of fraud going on that the writer knew about or was affected by?
thats what i thought too. So at all other times in the game when the win probability is measured at 50%, the analytics are actually projecting a tie?
This is a classic bailment under the law. How has no one threatened legal action here?
You should have to register this site with the Wisconsin Commission on Election Finance for your electioneering efforts. It's one thing to express an opinion, but this is as absurd as anything Ive seen the koch bros do to Obama
yeah because nothing says your tough like ganging up on a prissy little referee with 10 of your guys yelling in his face. There are lot of things the beautiful game does right, but the player-referee relationship is not one of them.
lol. Glad to find there's people who respect procedural values like letting the legislatures legsilative here among the rage-freakouts over non-controversial decisions like this one
