I was wondering why he didn't just go with a Stephen King-like character from the beginning. As @Ben Grimm mentioned, this kind of reminded me of the way they used a horror writer like King for In the Mouth of Madness.

I'm going to be one of those people that watches the Falcons/Saints on Monday because I think I'd just get too angry/depressed watching the debates. The Orange One raises my blood-pressure. I'll just get the lowlights from the reporters I follow or the podcasters I listen to. Plus, you never know when one or both…
Does that one really count as a rom-com, though? I thought that one seemed more like a family drama.
It's interesting. I just looked it up and it looks like the 2009 movie isn't a remake of the 1944 movie, but instead a remake of a 2003 Korean horror movie called A Tale of Two Sisters.
I haven't bothered going over to the comments of Mr. Robot because I was worried it was going to be exactly that. Personally, I was very happy with this season. That show always has me transfixed and I'm always looking forward to what's next. It just sucks that what's next won't be for another year.
Yeah, I didn't really hate it but was more annoyed, I guess, that we'd end up multiple threads dedicated to it to the point that I felt like at least half the comments were some variation of it.
"Bird bath."
I don't see where you're picking up Wolverine with this. There are plenty of other examples of loner characters besides him.
I tend to give ED a bit of a pass for Echo since I think that playing someone as a blank slate half the time is unfair. I thought she was great as Faith in the Buffy-Angel verse so I think it would have been better to have her as someone with a little more style, I guess.
I know this is kind of off-topic, but it is nice to see so many people enjoying the show like I do. For a long time, all we got were people making fun of it with the "Agent Mc something" or just plain hating it. Granted, it took a little while to develop, but I think it has been consistently entertaining since the…
Yeah, that was all of the Negan we've gotten. The Walking Dead doesn't come back 'til next month.
I'm cool with everything other than emo-goth thing. I don't know, I kind of dig it. 'Course that might just be because she's a hot girl wearing black.
I don't really see how you think she's a bad guy, much less again. Just because she's trying to keep the Director happy doesn't make her a villain.
I don't see them dropping Hydra for them to return to the films, I think they're dropping Hydra since they destroyed them and are moving on to other villains. I also don't see them completely dropping Inhumans since that's going to be a lot of their super powered people, at least for this show.
It's gross the way you try to compare Trump's spray tan to people who are marginalized because of their skin color. Your boy wants to profile people. That's wrong and disgusting. If you're trying to defend his hatred of brown people then you're disgusting, too.
I like the one about Obama annexing Texas or some such thing.
Hey, 2016 isn't over yet! There's still plenty of time for him to, uh, destroy America? I forget which conspiracies I'm supposed to be worried about these days.
Trump really can't resist taking the low road. Just like the way he attacked the Khans he has attack someone personally if he thinks they made him look bad. Or if they happen to be a fire marshal just doing their job.
Yeah he was really anti-war when he said he supported the war in Iraq and said we should steal their oil. Or his desire to use nuclear weapons.
