It’s a type of baby sweater knitted exclusively in garter stitch. It’s basically the only kind of sweater I’ve managed to knit. It’s (nearly) me-proof!

Hello, Jezzies! Hope you all are doing well. I’ve been having kind of a shitty day, until I realized I hadn’t taken my meds in a couple of days. Now I’m evening out, but obviously I still feel a bit shit. What are some of your urgent self-care tactics when you realize you are Not Well?

I think you lay out 1-2 non-small talk things in your early convos, just to get a sense of how they react. For myself, because it’s generally feeling safe, I bring up my father being a dick and growing up Mormon; if I trust their reactions, I know I have the option of sharing further. 

Ooh, I feel you. I’ve realized today that I was in the midst of a depressive rough patch and that was why I felt like trash, so I cannot emphasize enough what a change that makes. By all means, trying to get those bare minimum self-care tasks accomplished does a lot for maintaining general wellbeing. 

So cute! I went to a friend/coworker’s apartment for wine night, and it was delightful. Now I’m eating chili cheese fries in bed, slightly tipsy. Your hair looks so cute!
