Amanda Crew’s dress is fantastic, but her styling is blah.

It is painful when I try to think of all the instances when something happened and I said nothing because I was afraid. I became used to it because if I didn’t, I wouldn’t get justice I would get invalidation. I knew this by the time I was a 15, but it isn’t a skin I want to wear anymore.

I did think about that, but then the setting would have to be contemporary and not set in the 1970s singles bar scene. If you cast a person of another race or background in the story that would have to be addressed since it is the 1970s. The story wouldn’t work now because the pickup scene post-AIDS is not the same…

I am up for that. Amy Adams as the older sister. Tom Hardy as Richard Gere’s character, Chris Pine as the boyfriend and Leo DiCaprio as the sexually ambiguous hustler. :) On second thought I don’t think Leo likes to play that close to home. Lukas Haas might take it the wrong way.
