I mean, surrogates are definitely a thing, don't know why Quinn was just like "THERE ARE NO OTHER OPTIONS!"

good ole murder

RIGHT! There were a million other things they could've done to trigger Rachel's breakdown, there was no need to take on police brutality.

SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU'RE WRONG

like anklets weren't already plagued with enough stigma

yea, just those things. that's it. don't click it. DON'T CLICK IT. JUST. DON'T. CLICK. IT.

After Ruby/Darius, the only other scene I liked was Romeo and Darius staring at Rachel like "GTFO!"

YEA, JUST YEA TO ALL OF THAT.

There's no hypocrisy.

Oh great, so next season will be a whole lot of "THE COPS SAY THE BREAKLINES WERE CUT, WHO DID IT?!!?" ugh. but also, like, when?? We see Rachel go talk to him, then we see Coleman go grab Yael and immediately go to the car. When did he have time?!

I am sure a white dude who was all "I'm a pro-football player" wouldn't have been asked to leave his car. They would've made calls and not escalated the situation by asking Darius and Romeo to get out of the car.

holy shit, was the whole Adam having sex with an investor thing this season?? Did I completely forget about that because Adam coming back was totally pointless?

Remember how Quinn wanted a baby and then she was like "oops can't do it" and that guy disappeared completely?

…what?! they weren't killed because they were Jewish. Romeo and Darius were profiled because they were black. What are you…no. Was Coleman even Jewish? I'm pretty sure Rachel referred to his WASP-y family. This is the dumbest comment.

I CAME BACK AGAIN TO SAY - THERE WAS NO REASON CHET AND TIFFANY HAD SEX. THAT NEVER EVEN NEEDED TO BE A PLOT. IT DIDN'T COME UP AGAIN AND WAS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY.

there were no threads that held together throughout this season. Characters turned on a dime as the narrative demanded. At best, this was a C- episode and only because they brought Ruby back (although yknow…still seems like she'd take issue with the show that almost got the love of her life shot, but whatever)

I like how the closure for Romeo was just him going "You got me shot. Now we don't talk." wow, yes, thank you. a truly moving and nuanced look at police brutality.

How did Jeremy manage to get out there, drive them off the road and drive back to set only a few moments after wrap?! did he cut break lines?! what….

Rachel was definitely manipulating Jeremy into doing something. Even though she's been an independent/smart woman for most of the show who can figure shit out, on this one she had to turn to a man.

That was so bad. So bad. The death was predictable. I thought we'd see some clever maneuvering, but no, just trite, soap opera murder. Ugh.
