Well, his parents just got a divorce. I'm not saying parents can't have a different religion than their kids, but it just seems like he's using religion as an excuse, which is one of the first reasons he gave for why he didn't want a divorce.

As someone who had a child while in high school, I can tell you that these support programs are the main reason I was able to finish high school on time and am now able to support myself and my child. The programs can definately help, so long as they are utilized correctly by the participants.
