I think the show has its moments where it still touches on this or lays down a hard truth, although I found more of them in the first two seasons than in season three. For example, there was Robert in episode 2 who, after calling himself fat and lazy for most of the episode, was totally judgmental of his own young

I personally think if the Fab 5 just focused on telling them to execute the basic responsibilities of just being an average accountable adult, that some of the men they were helping would still not grasp it. I find it is was more effective of them to use the “Self Care” angle to introduce concepts like that to

Antoni seems like a good guy. The fact that he’s not a professional chef didn’t bother me. I think the job would be wasted on a pro. But what I’ve started to realize is that one of the most impactful people on the show is Karamo. While the skill he’s supposed to bring, “culture expert”, is poorly defined, what he

There are no 18 year old Jennys anymore.  It’s the Madison Era.

Except that the name Mercedes predates Mercedes-Benz.  Not denying that there are people that name their kids after a car, but I’d bet that most kids that are named Mercedes weren’t.

My daughter applied to USC and got her rejection letter today, and her UCLA rejection letter yesterday. All I know is that I will be writing letters to both schools requesting a refund of the application fees. They all promise a fair and complete review of all of the application. Clearly that is not the case.

I would happily be named after a video game character

Generally, cows raised for leather goods and cows raised to become meat are cared for differently and are not the same animals.

My father in law works with habitat, and was recounting to us that at the annual Jimmy Carter Work Project after his cancer treatment he called everyone together to tell them he was sorry, but he might not be able to put in a full 8 hours a day this year.

The DCCC don’t realize that this is just a way to encourage third-party spoilers: someone like Bernie who can’t run as a Dem will run as an independent - thus dividing the Dem vote and letting the Republican win.

I get it, nobody but nobody wants to be primaried.

And Nobel Laureate. (Before they were giving them away to people for just being elected. Does that mean the next Democrat to unseat Trump would automatically be awarded one, too?)

Former President Jimmy Carter is officially the longest living U.S. president in history. Please clap for the peanut man.

Sorry to rain on people’s parade, but having taken overnight sleepers with what passes for nice bunks and en-suite showers, I’d just like to highlight that it’s seriously not worth it (European NightJet routes). It’s actually really expensive even for the non-velvet lined cabins (way more expensive than flying a

The entire political class of the country still can’t get over the fact the Empire effectively died in ‘31, with the Statute of Westminster, and suffered its final death throes fighting WWII.

Britain isn’t used to being on the other side of the whole “empire” thing. They think they can dictate the terms of leaving the “empire” not understanding they aren’t negotiating from a position of strength.

“Well, except for the Central Park Five. They should have killed those guys! What, me racist?”

So after May’s awful attempt at a speech last night, where she positioned MPs as traitors, a petition to revoke Article 50 has been signed by more than two million people in only 24 hours. If this continues it could manage to beat the record set by the Trump petition by the march on Saturday, and while the petition is
