100% on your side. I’m just trying to think of how to get through this with as much fire and goodness as I felt we had behind us just a few days ago.

I agree with you! But to write the guy off as “dumb,” which is the reputation he has, b/c he has some “out there” religious views, isn’t fair. I don’t think he is qualified for those spots either, but the writer said it was “ironic” that he could even be considered for areas where he has actual experience.

Pretty sure I am raising a good faith objective. Calling a renowned brain surgeon dumb is ridiculous. It’s like saying, “Yeah, this guy won the decathlon at the Olympics, but he sucks at basketball, so at the end of the day, he’s a pretty shitty athlete.”

I never said he deserved those positions. I said that to be considered for a position in education and health services, when he has experience in both fields at the highest levels, is in no way “ironic.”

Fine. It needs to work both ways then. There’s Muslim men who believe that woman need to cover their faces in public and shouldn’t have social contact with members of the opposite sex. Is it okay to criticize them for their religious beliefs too? Or is that “Islamophobia” in your world?

“Dr. Ben Carson is being considered for both Health and Human Services and Education Secretary, based, I guess, solely on irony”

You are literally the reason why so many people voted for trump. They are tired of this feminist bullshit.

Did he have any proof of this happening? Because I could just as easily go on Twitter and make up a story to make him look bad too.

I hope you’re being sarcastic...if not you are either insanely overdramatic or legally insane. If Shillary were elected would you still be paranoid? Because that would literally change NOTHING.

That’s fair, but the article you linked doesn’t seem to talk about the safety pin at all. People should just be getting on with the business of being good people and helping others in their community imo.

So wait, did something bad actually happen to you, or did you just jump into this article about real hatred with ‘I live next to some white people’.

Perhaps the sanest strategy I’ve heard- also, not a bad prescription for winning at life.

I would include that it’s extremely important not to makeup or exaggerate anything, because all it takes is a couple people crying wolf to get a bunch of other people’s legit problems ignored.

Continue to be try and better person every day. Help all people who need it, treat all people with respect. That’s my plan.

Yeah, that elitist, party-line, entitled condescension will really help the Democratic Party

Yep, it’s everyone’s fault except Hillary’s for the fact that she wasn’t a candidate people wanted to vote for. Despite all the polls that showed she might lose to Trump, her candidacy was more important to her than preventing Trump from becoming president. But it’s everyone elses’ fault.

Because Gore, Kerry, and Hillary all deserve to be shat on. Hillary had the power to change the outcome of this election. Don’t pretend people voted for Trump in a vacuum. They voted for him because she did shit to convince them to vote for her instead. Just the opposite, she practically screamed at everyone that she

friendly reminder that you backed the worse candidate. WORSE THAN TRUMP. the one that couldn’t be bothered to put in enough effort to convince enough people to vote for her. the one would was backed by wall street and thought it better to cozy up with celebrities and big donors rather than going to the people. the one

Hey, I voted for her. I just also recognize that she did a really shitty job of convincing me to do so, and if I were the kind of person who didn’t just vote democratic down the ballot, I might not have.

It was Hillary’s responsibility to convince people to vote for her. She failed miserably.
