It's a very small number of public school pupils being utter knobs, there's a good chance they aren't all British either, just attending Winchester or Harrow or whatever. The "Your Filipina" prat is almost certainly from a Gulf State, probably an Emirati.

This sounds like something the BNP would say.

It is not British thing most posh people are like this.

"Speaking of white people, BTW, this movie would be a lot less sympathetic if they made the characters as racist as those people would have been IRL. Kudos on totally whitewashing this region and time period while scoring it mostly with music by black artists."

You're right, there couldn't possibly be anything good in 100 years of culinary history spread amongst four distinct countries.

I went to London Pride today and i saw Sir Ian McKellen and Imelda Staunton. It was so crowded (the amount of people there broke records) but it was amazing to see how diverse it has become.

The "lol English food" thing is so tired, and frankly, provincial.

If you have a medical history from 20 years ago, how does that help you when you're dealing with medical interventions we were unaware of 20 yeas ago. When it comes to rape culture it is as bad as the US but so many Canadians will not acknowledged it, also under the Harper government Canada is going backwards, so yes it may be more liberal at the moment but it is a scary time in Canada.

No it is bad in Canada, it not better than the US.

There have been plenty of incidents before this that has made it very clear that Canada has a rape culture problem. Canada is not better than the US when it comes to rape culture.

So, they are like everyone else?

And people tell me how grateful I should be for living in this country, and how can I not be when the highest court in my homeland thinks it is someone's constitutional right to butt into my business in a hostile, violent fashion so they can impose their puritanical views on my person. America used to be the outlier,
