I was raised Catholic, and I look at how much volunteer work my mother does for her church. She and about four other women single-handedly coordinate and implement 90% of that church’s charitable work. They’re volunteers. They get paid nothing. Yet her church brings in $45,000+ a week just through their collection…

Finally managed to go out for a drive and survey the immediate area. All these were taken within a mile of my house. The line for the supermarket had to be a quarter mile out the door. A few gas stations are open but they’ve sold out of food.
