Not getting your point. I never said there shouldn’t be prisons or prisoners. I’m saying it’s gross to pretend that a ‘ward’ of the state can righteously ‘volunteer’ and it’s more gross to say the program exists to help the inmates redeem themselves. It exists to use inmates as slave labor.
