Yeah. There was a lot of info. on the main reddit thread that probably should not have been broadcast to millions...

I heard this on the scanner as well and wonder what happened...I hate glimpses of buried stories. Ugh.
Yeah, he's pretty much the imaginary boyfriend of me and like, ten other friends. And maybe half the internet. HE LOVES BUB SO MUCH!
Heh or how about this: only 31 over here; spent 10hrs with dislocated shoulder in a local ER (I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW WTF?!), and was forced to use the bedpan. I guess that made me grateful for my exposed butt.
I've been feeling the same way. Relieved my old neighborhood isn't home to bombers anymore and my friends in Watertown are OK, but something about seeing that kid's face makes me so sad and uncomfortable. Way sadder than I'd thought. I think it's compounded by the fact that he ran over his brother and was found…
I am also curious about the sloth's intelligence! How does it know?!
It's not a good week here in the States. It's just like...waiting for the next round of bad news. I guess people are able to push this shit to the back of their minds but damn, I cannot.
Awesome. This is not shocking, either (which is also awesome). NZ has been my favorite country to visit, and their film industry is so much more open to women than...nearly everywhere else.
That's awesome. Go her (and you, for hiring her)! Alexas are no joke. The filmmaker I work with uses a Panasonic P2HD which is also quite hefty albeit less so, and yet I seem to manage carrying/setting up/test shooting. Yay; I was totally expecting to wake up to like 20 comments from guys defending their bias.
Um yes they fucking do want to be cinematographers. Yes, I definitely do. And don't try and tell me the industry hires DPs on talent and merit. Nor do they hire female camera operators. It's a no-shame boys club of the first degree.
Men cite height & upper body strength as reason why women make inferior camera operators. This is especially bullshit considering the huge boom in audiovisual technology in the past 10 years. I will feel lucky if I can land a job in a camera dept. period. It's very depressing. Total, horrible boys club. I'd have a…
Well and also that there are like 5 or more hospitals within 5 miles, two of which were less of a mile away. Added bonus that Boston has some of the highest quality care at those hospitals. This has been so so horrifying, but I agree the death toll will be less than if this had happened in another city of similar…
Hmn. I think Tom maybe should skip the tinted moisturizer...it's weirdly making his stubble look too light and his face too monotone. Maybe the shade is off. The other lads? Vague difference. Is this what it looks like when I think I'm getting coverage from my tinted makeup?
I'm glad you posted though - I'm in the same boat. I lived in Boston 10 years - went to school/lived at Emerson, worked downtown, and probably walked past Copley 5 or more days a week, sometimes more than once. I still have lots of friends there.
Thanks so much for your interest!
I can only really give you my answer as a sometime photojournalist and onetime writer-for-DOD-stuff, but, I don't know how it would be possible to change that reality without first dismantling the patriarchy worldwide.
(Universal) You don't get into this if you are offended by being made a token. I would say the same goes for international journalism and photojournalism. Being "token" is something you learn to play in your favor. And especially for a woman, where you're already token enough within the culture of international…
I do not understand; I am of a lower income than many of my friends, and if one of them wished to gift me cash because they know I'm struggling financially, I would feel weird at first but if it was clearly a gift, grateful. "In college," especially at private college in a big city, many "broke" students still have…
I have no clue why your post has been met with such criticism. It's a fashion post, ultimately, and you're making a comment on her damned clothes! I get the impression many of these commenters wear standard bra sizes - my body looks a lot like that model's (although I am much much shorter, like the model next to her)…
Unisom is such my friend when it comes to general always-nausea...calmer than Benedryl, over-the-counter...it no longer puts me to sleep but it's awesome for my appetite /anecdata
