NOT PERFEFCT WHERE’S THE MASK

While this makes sense, there are also a LOT of murders in this country, and the country is not full of these family members spitting venom at every parole hearing. For good reasons or bad, people move on; but you just never hear about them, because it’s not a story when they do.

I wasn’t really referring to the reception, but the creation.

Oh, sure, I know all that. Honestly, even my CAUTIOUS optimism seems rose-colored.

This..... might actually be good. I sense the lessons of Andor. (Although I might just be seeing what I want to.)

How this guy is responsible for the A+ Andor and this... whatever is troubling.

All I can think about while watching this is CHAPTERHOUSE.

I am enormously bored by the Superman/Lois love story.  I sorta wish it had been in the second film or something.  Subjective, I know.

I only saw your first line, and was going to say “fair”; but then everything else was a bit operatic and I don’t really think so any more.

I had Meredith sign her vampire book at Brownies in the East Village. But the madness of the sale and kinja (and the death of Iain M. Banks, long

Perhaps I’m too big an Asimov stan or whatever, but watching an action hero Seldon confront the emperor in the midst of these battles and explosions seems wrong and sad to me. I don’t think it’s an angry fanboy rant, just personal nostalgic hippie melancholy. I miss my “Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.”

I disagree.  Good writing can make for good adaptions even for difficult material.  I want to love this, but it’s sad how completely sideways it is.

Inception is pretty cool.  It is not iconic.
