I used to teach at Summit. It takes a while to get a feel for it, and most students get a 5 to 10 minute session. It takes several to many sessions to get a feel for the dynamics, then develop the touch to control them. It want until I got a couple hour long sessions that I really got a feel for it.

Interesting that an automotive journalist doesn’t have any appreciable skipad time. It must be hard to appreciate the nuances of cars at the limit.

People died a lot in the good old days.

Ken is certainly the master of jeopardy, plus he has a very kind demeanor. He may not be as silky as Alex was, but he has the cred around the subject matter. My only regret is that he won’t be competing anymore...

Though it means that the car could be seriously tracked (at least at DE events), particularly if you consider the Brembos. Better than... Say a 4 door...BMW 2 Grande Coupe with it’s fwd platform.

This portends well for the upcoming SUV.

They’re not playing until they have gone all chores and schoolwork. They’re playing generally for a defined period of time with a scheduled end. Giving them a little latitude in that framework to manage their relationships is a reasonable thing to do. Just give them a 10 can minute warning to exit the scene

Actually, in many instances, they CAN pause TV these days. (Netflix) I am more abrupt about the “need” to watch the end of an old Gumball episode

Among Us is catching on around here. Clue in a space station. Everything has take to keep the station running and there is one assigned person who is supposed to sabotage things and kill off the others.

If he hasn’t finished his chores and homework, my son is not online in the first place. We negotiate the duration of any play time ahead of time, though sometimes we let it slide a bit if dinner or other schedule logistics slip. Generally, though we try to manage expectations and keep our side of bargains if he does.

Exactly. Finish up this round and get down to set the table for Dinner. We eat in 20...

Just move everything to iRacing...

¨The Great Race.¨ very cheesy, old movie about a race around the world.

Aren’t the 20,000 mAh units in a sweet spot because of flight restrictions (when we start flying again). That should be a consideration if you’re a frequent flyer.

They are probably trying to emphasize their new focus on electrification. The ICE age is ending.

I can’t wait for the first ADA law suit because they don’t have it proper contrast on the letters.

If I remember correctly, that 2070 Super is faster than a 1080ti. Not too shabby for even contemporary games.

Great write up. It’s refreshing to see a thoughtful level of detail. If I read your takes and Chris Harris’, I think I’ll be covered on most cars.

Everything made in the 90s and early 2000s was more mechanical and reliable than the electronic messes that are engineered to a lease life expectancy. My 1997 m3 has been great, and I hope to item it for another decade. Try an e36 rather than an E46. No bespoke motor.

Did it after working timing at the 24 hours at Moroso. That hurt.
