Amen...not to mention the weight savings. What ever happened to 3000 lb cars?

Motive bleeders are like $35. If you’re going to do brakes, you’ll need a decent jack and stands, and you should buy a rigid 1/2" lithium driver to remove your lug nuts and other fasteners. If you want a cheaper solution, buy an X wrench at your car parts supply store. Also buy a 150 ft lb torque wrench. Go to YouTube

Go to Motive and buy a pressure bleeder. It makes the job really simple

Heavier B pillars making the car stiffer?

If only we got NA beer that didn’t taste like paint thinner...

When I get feed up with being on the highway for an hour and take the back roads instead, I love my old BMW...

I’ve seen anecdotal reports of electrical gremlins up to and including cars just dying...Hard to get a solid pulse on a new model that is thinly owned. Guess I should look to the 2016 XC90s as the best proxy.

Unfortunately, the quality doesn’t appear to be there. I want my wife in a v90v60, but complained about the newer Volvo’s are keeping her away... If anyone can point to anything substantial to counter that it would be great.

So are we going to take bets as to whether she completed her “Olympic experience” by feasting on Pita?

Grilled chicken and Chiangmai sausage skewers and beer in the night market in Chiangmai, Thailand...Followed by a banana chocolate roti from another street cart and a $3 massage (ina shop, not on the street) that made my torn achilles feel better than it ever had. The whole night cost less than $10.

MECHANICAL KEYBOARD with backlighting to work at night. I prefer red.

Sad but true...us market.

Unfortunately Volvo reliability seems terrible these days based on consumer reports repair frequency reports. Jd power also has them fairly low...

My friend converted an old car seat into a desk chair. Recaro sells desk chairs for about $700.. probably more, it’s been a while. I have a recaro I may convert, though it would be for a sim.

Yeah those BMW I6 motors are crap. I had one in a 325 that only lasted 230k miles before I had to sell it to get my wife a minivan. It had to put in two radiator/waterpump combos (yes, they’re expendable in BMWs as recyclable parts with 80k maintenance intervals), and the car went through a set of ignition coils

I don’t need a car wash in my garage... Just hot and cold water and a drain.

For people familiar with the core of this car overseas, how is realiability. Our local dealer svc Dept is terrible, which is a problem.

Sorry America does not buy wagons. Just ask BMW, Audi (no a6), and Mazda.

How is the interior? Reviews describe it as middling. Wife buys a car every decade and would like something reasonable. She’s coming out of an ex-l Ody. I’d it a car you would want to live in for 10 years or does it feel rental grade?

He got *MSRP* minus trade...
