*cue Barry White music as the four speedsters enter the room in various stages of undress*

I wouldn't put it past him.

Actual exchange from this week's episode:

I'd forgotten all about that since last week. They really missed a good opportunity to remind us.

"So Stein now decides to remember the legal drinking age limit?"

You know there's a problem when Snart makes a dig at Rip's leadership skills during the toast at the end of the episode (and people actually raise a glass to it). Nobody takes Rip seriously on the ship (perhaps with the exception of Palmer and Stein).

Why don't they just stick Savage's smoldering corpse in a cell aboard the Waverider? This would allow them to locate the magical dagger in the time stream at their own pace. Once they got their hands on it, they could then kill Savage in a controlled environment.

"Tai thinks using an ax on a tree is like murdering it but then he
uproots newly planted (?) trees left and right? I don't understand.
Maybe I just don't understand gardening?"

So many wonderful possibilities… *represses urge to vomit*

You're referring alluding to the fungal parasite cordyceps, right? It's pretty amazing that a fungus could be so well adapted to its environment: infecting its insect hosts (ants, usually) with spores and making them climb up and latch on to plants from which the cordyceps then grows in order to disperse more spores.

That's definitely possible. The fact that the intense pain stopped after the parasitic worm crawled out seems to suggest that it was the parent, though. That said, the parent could have gone into some kind of dormant state. Either way, the verdict's still out on the larva.

Someone I was watching with said the same thing, but wouldn't it make sense for the "parent" to crawl out first in order to clear the way for its brood? There's not that much wiggle room* in an ear canal.

I have a sinking feeling that the parasitic worm managed to lay its eggs in Jennifer's ear canal. That should be pleasant to watch (not to mention horrifying for the unsuspecting victim).

I agree with regard to Rip. If the writers want him to be anything beyond a walking exposition device, they need to have Rip leave the ship and interact with the other Legends more often (whether he's communicating with them from the ship, or participating in their away missions). The Waverider is cloaked most of the

Not to mention toilet-proof.

They really doubled down on Barry's secret identity nonsense, didn't they?

That intelligent office building can play a mean bass.

Gorilla Grod is running the shadow government!

The person I was watching with was certain that Mulder was going to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder before the hour was up. After sitting through several batshit insane conspiracy theory montages in a row (played in fast-forward, no less), I was on the same page.

Clarissa Stein (Professor Stein's wife) knows his secret identity, ffs! If I recall correctly, he runs off to pick up pizzas using super speed right in front of her (a complete stranger at this point) with absolutely zero fanfare. But if it's someone "important" to him (family member, girlfriend, etc.), Barry will
