After reading this story yesterday, I could not stop thinking about it.

They were talking about it on one of the podcasts I listen to (at work) and played some of the audio from the game. I had to shut off the podcast, delete it, and hugged my 14-month old daughter extra long when I got home from work that evening.

Even remembering it now, I am fighting back the tears.

I fully disagree with you with that the officer’s actions were justified. You are correct, police are trained to use physical force to arrest someone, should they need to. This was assault, plain and simple.
