"They moved on to a whole other mistake….."
"They moved on to a whole other mistake….."
It wasn't their oxygen.
Other suggestions are that it's *CENSORED.* Which would just blow my mind.
Yeah, but Nardol was specifically employed to keep the Doctor by the vault. The way I see it, there is a kind of standoff where whatever is in there can't escape, but the Doctor has to be stood by the door in case it does. Him being badly injured ends the stalemate and hands the enemy a weapon to use against him.…
And it can become something quite deep in that respect, there were a lot of feels when Donna left.
It was a little too on the nose for me.
I think the unrequited love angle hurt the character and her popularity. Also, I just don't think Freea Agyman brought the right energy to it. (She was good in Human Nature/Family of Blood though).
It's funny, no one seems to have Rose Tyler on their 'best of lists', yet she never gets any hate, either.
I liked Sarah Jane, I can definitely see what the fuss is about, but my favourite old school companion is Leela. She was this totally straight post apocalyptic badarse that kept on getting in hilarious situations.
Psst! Hey!
It's funny what bugs different people, isn't it? Amy was annoying but I found Rory to be far worse.
Good God, I hated Rory. Amy wasn't my favourite either, but she was so much more irritating when he was around. They were kind of like that annoying couple that you wondered why they were together.
In that she started off loud and annoying but showed depths and ended up being one of the better companions of nu Who?
I think she's a little older, 19-ish?
I really like the tight rope she walks. She's well written but she acts the hell out of it too. She brings a lot of energy to the role and bounces off of Capaldi brilliantly. Interestingly, I think her acting is more toned down than what was seen in the companion introduction we saw months ago. I wonder if that's down…
Hmmm….. Maybe so!
I REALLY enjoyed Hell Bent. Not as good as Heaven Sent, but still stonking. The, 'I had a duty of care' line. The bait and switch about who got their memory wiped. 12 causing someone to regenerate. Those creepy timelord robot things (I forget the name). 12 facing off against successive levels of the timelord…
GOD I loved those scenes.
Simm V Capaldi will be beautiful.
I thought his Mater could be way over the top, but bouncing off each other I think they'll get the best from each other. Here's my question; will they get on? Even the Doctor fights with himself and he's the good guy.
Another thought, if we can get John Simm, why can't we get Derek Jacobi?
