It's interesting they didn't mention the fact they tried making a spin off to the movie Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels before on UK TV. It was called Lock Stock and actually starred the guy from the GTA 2 intro as a crook trying to make it big.

Damn, is it really bad? This trailer actually looks pretty interesting. The lead's got a lot of charisma too and it's a different set up than say, oh, 90% of US sitcoms.

Well, I mean, they moved over there a few thousand years ago.

Oh my God.

Someone from the first nation is denied entry to the country his relatives colonised before anyone else.

I thought it was funny as hell. You just know she was told specifically *not* to go in whilst he was being interviewed and that from then it was all she could think about.

I like a pat on the head once in a while.

Don't hound me.

You're barking up the wrong tree if you're expecting a laugh.

I needed this after Logan.

Yeah, but they did it in another movie and focused the entire film on Spock regaining his mind and personality. Him coming back cheapened his death, but at least they gave his return some stakes. Kirk was less dead and more suffering from an briefly arrested heartbeat.

That's my huge problem with it. Man of Steel I was fairly entertained, this was just more of the same and I was utterly disengaged and bored throughout. Even the final battle did nothing for me.

I don't think a Martha Kent film is a good idea. I mean, what would it focus on?

The Martha thing was more of a 'Oh yeah, I didn't notice that before!' thing rather than a good twist. If this had been two new characters fighting and they stopped because they had the same mother's name everyone in the theatre would be laughing their heads off.

The last video: That kid with glasses has special, 'mother massaging' gloves.

The cussing was allowable, the 'F' word was in full use by that point but several mistakes included, "fried his brain", "Hello" and "Weekend".

Oh my God. I saw that first one when I was a kid. It shat me right up.

Will it be on UK Netflix?

Man, I've been really enjoying it. Maybe it's because I came in with a little bit more realistic expectations which are yet to be underdone.

I mean, I know they pretty much resurrected his career, but the Wachowski kids haven't had a decent film come out since the 90's. They really need to take it away from them.
